Pumped: Push Up Alarm Clock
Privacy Policy
Pumped is an alarm clock you switch off by doing exercise. Almost everything it knows about you stays on your phone. There are no Pumped accounts and no Pumped servers. This policy explains the few exceptions.
1. Data that stays on your device
Pumped saves the following in Android's private app storage so the app works between sessions. It is never uploaded by Pumped and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

2. Camera
Pumped uses your camera to count reps with Google ML Kit pose detection, which runs entirely on your phone. Each frame is turned into body landmark positions in real time and then discarded. Pumped never saves, records or uploads photos, video or audio, and the microphone is not used.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how people move through setup, so we can make it better. When it is active, it may receive:
- Which setup screens you view and the multiple-choice answers you pick (for example, how many alarms you usually set, where you heard about Pumped, and, if you answer it, gender)
- The exercise, rep count and wake-up goal you choose
- Whether you allowed notifications and whether linking a Google account worked (never the email itself)
- A referral code, if you enter one
- Standard information Firebase collects automatically, such as an app-instance ID, device model, Android version, app version, approximate country and usage times
We do not send your name, email, reason text, signature, alarm labels, camera data or purchase details to analytics. Pumped does not collect your advertising ID and does not show ads. Google's use of this data is covered by Google's Privacy Policy; see also Firebase privacy.
4. Google sign-in (optional)
At the end of setup you can link a Google account, or skip it. If you link one, Pumped asks Google only for your basic sign-in, keeps your email address on your device and sends it nowhere.
5. Purchases
Pumped Pro is sold through Google Play Billing. Google handles payment and your payment details; Pumped only learns whether you own Pro, so it can unlock it. Unlock codes are checked on your device and are not stored or sent.
6. Sharing and reviews
If you tap Share on the success screen, Pumped creates an image of your streak and hands it to Android's share sheet. Where it goes is up to you. Pumped may also show Google Play's in-app review prompt once; Google handles any review you leave.

You can grant or revoke any permission at any time in Android Settings.
8. Sharing with others
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. The only third parties involved are Google (Play Billing, ML Kit on-device, Firebase Analytics and, if you choose, Google sign-in) and Google Play, which distributes the app under its own privacy policy.
9. Retention and deletion
On-device data lasts until you clear the app's storage in Android Settings or uninstall Pumped. Analytics data is kept by Firebase under its standard retention settings. To ask us to delete analytics data linked to your device, email us from the address below with the approximate date you installed the app.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and Australia's Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, or to object to its use. Most of your data is already under your control on your phone. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
11. Children
Pumped is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used Pumped, contact us and we will help remove any related analytics data.
12. Security
App data sits in Android's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Data sent to Google services travels over encrypted connections.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Pumped means you accept the updated policy.
